Frequently asked questions
Yes, booking is essential. However if you want to come in and chat about our rooms and maybe take a sneak peek, you are more than welcome!
All of our rooms run on a set schedule, and booking in advance means we can be sure the room is ready when you arrive and there aren't any clashes with other teams coming in to play.
Most of our Escape Rooms have limits of 6-7 people, please check the room information prior to booking. The team size limits change depending on the size of the room, as even the multi-room experiences might start with a smaller room before you can explore the rest of the space. The ideal size for an average team is around 4 people, larger teams can mean more ciaos and not everyone getting as involved. However, large teams can have a lot of fun, it just depends on how you work as a group.
No, each Escape Room can only have one team playing at any one time, with each of our Escape Rooms having different themes and stories. If you do have a lot of people (7+ players) then we recommend splitting the team and playing two different rooms at the same time, simply book the rooms that have similar booking times.
Traveller Ranking is how Tripadvisor lists businesses solely based on reviews given by customers, so it provides a very up-to-date ranking of attractions which receiving customer reviews. If you have good reviews and lots of them, you'll rank well, however if you haven't had any recent reviews your ranking will slip - so a business needs to stay active to highly ranked.
Tripadvisor actually has two sorting options: Traveller Favourites (default) and Traveller Ranking. We continue to rank well on both versions of the rankings being 1# on Traveller Ranking and within the top 10 in Traveller Favourites.
Tripadvisor doesn't provide a clear explanation of how either of the rankings actually work, however we were able to collect information from the Tripadvisor forums.
Traveller Ranking orders places based on a popularity index, which considers the number of reviews, average rating score from users and the recency of reviews. If you are rated well by your customers and have recent reviews, you'll be ranked well on this list.
Traveller Favourites (default) sorts based on a combination of factors including page views, the ratings and some unknown factors. Being rated well by your customers doesn't mean you'll be well ranked on this list.
