Your uncle has made many friends on his adventurous journeys—but also a few enemies. One such foe is the Dark Wizard, who believes your uncle has something of his. And knowing your cheeky uncle, he probably did acquire a new item or two while exploring a certain creepy forest nearby. Now, your uncle's enemy has become yours, and he’s chasing you with the meanest of intentions.

As quick-thinking adventurers, you escape into your uncle’s house, knowing it's protected by a magical spell. But that’s not a spell the wizard can’t break, so you must be quick. You need to find the hidden exit you know exists, though your uncle has never shown you where it is. Uncle Gandrie doesn’t make it easy for just anyone to discover his secrets—but you are a clever bunch, and you can do anything you put your mind to!

Which version should I play first, Standard or DARK MODE?

We recommend playing DARK MODE first, then returning to explore Gandrie’s home with some extra light and an added challenge. The Standard mode is a more difficult room, though playing in the dark does add its own set of challenges!
